Being new here, I have started sifting through the huge number of very interesting threads on offer and this one naturally struck a chord.
Jack Inwood certainly deserves a thread and in fact should have books in his honour. The bearded big bore lens guy stands head and shoulders above the 35 mm class. He was absolutely dedicated and a perfectionist. There would not be too many currently behind a lens, who would bravely stand right in the line of fire as he always did.
Thankfully he did not concentrate only on the high and mighty and covered many club races. Many of the also ran guys were able to get top grade photos from him. He was a good judge of technique and new who the drivers were as opposed to those riding on a cheque book. A very interesting man to talk to.
I hereby pay homage by bumping this thread forward and putting it back on track. Thank you Jack.
