Any chance the Anglia is being pedalled by Barry Phillips, as it's carrying #86 ?

I had a look there and I think you may be right ,first glance I thought it was Ken Richardson's Anglia ,but then Barry brought the Anglia from Ken ,so that would would work out ,its not right for the Sedgedin car because it had the strut mounts sticking up through the bonnet

Pretty sure it's Dave Jurie from Wellington - light blue with a red nose. Ended up in the famous Pukekohe creek

David, yes the Roll bar inside might be the clue ,Dave was one of the first to fit a roll bar ,was the tree down the bank on the top of the hill where he finished up at Puke

Jurie went off on the inside of Rothmans, down the bank and into the tree. The car was bent in two. I think there was a photograph in Motorman at the time

Yes he did - the damage was substantial and he was lucky to escape without serious injury

I am not sure if it was that photo caption ,but one of them was headed up "Anglia U bolt at Pukekohe " it was bent that bad .I think at that meeting Jurie was using no 54 and there was another photo with a caption Car54 where are you, derived from the Sitcom of the same name around that time David , Dave Jurie raced a modified 315 before the Anglia is that right ?
