Laguna Seca. August 2022

Between historic racing and very expensive auctions in the Pebble Beach and Carmel area and Laguna Seca race circuit this is a busy time around here.
I managed to get away for the Pre Reunion event with 2 friends on the Saturday August 13th. We arrived to find there were no programmes for that day and limited fields compared to previous years due to the attrition rate and saving the vehicles for the main event this coming weekend.

Ken H,
Thank you for WAP-7 ..
More for the archives. " borrowed " already.
Must have been a late production BN4 [ 100 Six ] as 3000 production began in 1959.
Cheers
Roger

Some of the 1972-1982 Le Mans Group.
It is a bit hard without a programme but I will ID what I can. I don't capture much more than the cars parked or trundling toward the assembling grid. My friend Bill.. did take some action shots from the " Corkscrew" corner area.

I found this to be very disappointing coverage especially compared to Goodwood !
I hope you don't feel the same way about my photos !

You Formula One experts out there will help determine the answer to my question.
This William Iso Marlboro # 67 is ent5ered as a 1972 model.
As it nearly ran me over at Laguna Seca I managed to take these photos and I believe it is a 1973 Model FX3/01
(Howden Ganley drove 1973 FX3/02)
I thought it was going out to the right as the other cars had done but it came straight instead !)

Thanks Milan,
It is a bit confusing for an old guy like me when I read something like this which mentions # 67 was produced in 1973.

There were almost 40 entries in the Historic Trans Am field.
The cars are all as raced back in the 1966-1972 era.
They make the best sound around as they thunder over the start / finish line.
Here are some of my paddock trundle pix.
