G'day Roaring Season Folk

I'm an Elfin tragic - with a particular penchant for the types 100 (Mono), 300, 400 & 600.

I'm restoring a Mono (chassis 6653 ) at the moment with my Dad, Ron Lambert (he's ex Elfin Works 64-68).

The shots of Bob Jane's Mono at Warwick Farm are great, my Mono had a run at the Dec 66 Hordern Trophy meeting at The Farm when fresh out of Conmurra Avenue (Phil Hotchkiss - practiced, didn't race) and again at Catalina Park in Jan 67 before being shipped to NY.

I'd love to see any pit/paddock/race shots of it Down Under before it went to the USA!

Cheers James

Hi James, welcome to The Roaring Season. Its really great to have you here.

Your Elfin sounds great! Such a hugely important manufacturer. Please feel free to start a dedicated thread on your restoration project in the General Discussion section of the forum. And, likewise, a thread requesting old racing pics. A lot more people frequent that section, so hopefully a few more old photos might emerge.
