I came across this file of photographs, of which, I had no idea some existed. Some of these may in fact be by Jeff Law. They cover several venues, notably the first clubman races at Manfield. anyway, hope you enjoy.

Red Cooper 500 at Levin is Graham ("Gray") Richards. Graham is still competing regularly but now in a Terrapin. In the 70's the 500cc cars (which by that time had no class to race in) raced with the early Formula Vees.

I'd like to know more about this Marina. Was it one of the Heatway rally cars? It's wearing Aussie TC badges, has the Aussie wiper pattern, but doesn't have the TC's opening front and rear quarterlight windows.

Did Mary Carney drive this car or another woman competitor.

The purple Chev Coupe was from Wanganui and raced by the Jurgens not sure of first name, they owned a demolition company. It was then sold and turned into a hot rod and owned by Mike Madden and it still did retain much of its racing look.

That is brilliant, I have often wondered about this car, I had only ever seen this view
But then stumbled across that 3/4 front view in a file I did not know I had so its now good to know a bit more about it.

Would like to get more information about Judy Hanbury and Mary Carney and the ex-works Marina GC1. The only info I have found is that they drove the car to 27th place in the 73 Heatway, and to 12th in the 74 Northland rally.
Marina's GC1 and GC2 ..

Was entered in other events - this photo from Ross Cammick { BMC BOY } was posted on the Hillclimbs thread some time ago.
This was an event at Ridge Road in 1974. Judy Hanbury driving
One of the two Marina's had a V8 fitted at some time and was badly crashed. Unsure if it was GC1 or GC2 ..
Vaguely remember one of them at Bright Road, the Pukekohe Car Club's Bardahl series Hill Climb in late 1979, think it fell over on the top corner.
