I wholeheartedly agree - good to see the lad add another championship to his tally.

Yep, 2nd that. What a weird race, just as well it was not 510 miles there would be no one left. Funny how Power had it at end of race but not at restart.

Great stuff! Hard to reconcile it with that young ginger haired lad on the Chicane racesuits brochure of 2000....

Maybe not nostalgia but one day younger Kiwi race fans will look back on Scott in the same we do now for Bruce, Denny, Chris etc.
Not only a terrific driver but such a great ambassador for the sport

Yep 2nd that , last time I saw Scott was at manfeild on a scooter bike doubling his mate hooning around as I went through old wooden gate to pit entrance , he was doing the FV thing , I knew in my heart this young guy had a special thing about him , was not sure what it was as he was quite frumpy to look at [no disrespect] but had some sort power to shine through ., never really had the time to study his driving but......Just one more thing , the yankeee thing in my eyes is not like the English thing , just perhaps if Scott got to F1 then we would really see more hi lights similar to Bruce , Denny &Chris .......... life moves on ......... Thanks Steve for this site , really cool ....

Always great to see a Kiwi at the top and staying at the top consistently.
Never forget though, the unsung heroes , those here in NZ who sponsored him to the US though all the tough entry beginnings that enabled him to be seen , nurtured and rise to the top.
None of that would have been cheap, and their judgement vindicated by his undoubted skills.

He should be a Shoe - in for 'Sportsman of the Year'. That is a mighty feat.

Not so sure Wal, remember rugby is what the media pushes! Good to see you at Waxy O'Shea's a couple of weeks ago. Tony R

I reckon that if he won Indy 500, Indy championship and Le Mans in one season they'd still give sportsman of the year to the All Blacks for winning.... the Bledisloe Cup!
