Photos: The Bruce Wells Collection - Warwick Farm - Part 4
I've been chomping at the bit to get started on this chapter of The Bruce Wells Collection. This entire chapter, containing 63 photos, is all based upon the Warwick Farm round of the 1966 Tasman Series, and features the Tasman cars, plus cars from the supporting touring car and sports car races.
There are also a few driver photos which I'll include, although some of these will double up in a special chapter I'm reserving as the very last update from Bruce Wells, which will only be photos of drivers.
Anyway, the Warwick Farm round of the '66 Tasman Series was won by Jim Clark in his Lotus, from Graham Hill's BRM, and Frank Gardner's Brabham, which is also how they lined up after qualifying.

Lets start with this spectacular shot, featuring Bob Jane, getting his E Type crossed up in one of the sports car races.

More sports car photos to come, but here are a few touring car photos, including this great shot of a Lotus Cortina. Can anyone ID who this is? It kind of looks like Bob Jane driving, and remembering he destroyed his Mustang at Catalina Park in late 1965, did he revert back to the Cortina for 1966?

The Cooper S looks a lot like the one Brian Foley raced through 1964 and '65, but did he still own it in early 1966?
Re: Photos: The Bruce Wells Collection - Warwick Farm - Part 4
Hello Steve, according to Alfa romeo TZ book I believe this to be a TZ1 Chassis 750 061 to which Brunninghausen purchased in 1965. This car has a Double Bubble Roof due to Nabokow being very tall prior to being purchased. Brunninghausen purchased a TZ2 chassis 750 109 or 112 from Alex Mildren in 1967 to replace the TZ1

Thanks Bruce, great info. Is this car still about somewhere?
Re: Photos: The Bruce Wells Collection - Warwick Farm - Part 4
The TZ1, 750 061 was auctioned in November 2000 in Auckland. From memory it was owned prior to this by a prominent South Islander. The TZ2 was damaged in Aussi before being repaired and exported to China for the Macau race 1968. There is confusion over the chassis plate but this seems common with the TZs. They seem to think TZ2 chassis 750 109 and 112 may be the same car. No knowledge of the TZ2 after 1999. The chassis plate was removed when restored.

Can you help to ID these Humpy Holdens Ellis? The FJ I've managed to trace to a B. Stewart. Any more info than that? The FX has a fairly unique stripe running down off the bonnet, which might help to ID the driver.
