1953 Puma on eBay - car in the USA

Just spotted this bit of NZ history on eBay

I beleive this is the car which was owned by Brian Avery about 20 years ago in Palmerston North. That was the last time I saw it. It then turned up for sale at Dr Heins Car Sales in Christchurch.

After reading all the Blog it is Brians car. Brian due to personal circumstances had to sell the car and I was very interested. It was a very pretty wee car. My good friend Bob Dawes knew the car and Brian very well but sadly Bob passed away at the end of last year and cannot fill in the history of it.
Unfortunatley at the time the company we worked for were reducing staff and I was not prepared to purchase the car. I saw it advertised at Dr Heins and after that it disappeared. Now I know where it is and I hope it comes back to NZ.

Yes it would be interesting if a piece of NZ motoring history like this could make its way back to the land of the long white cloud - I see it sold for $20,100 USD
