I was under the impression that this was a replica rather than a genuine Moffat car. Can someone confirm?

I spoke to the owners, who assured me it was the real thing. I didn't ask which of the cars it was though.

Spoke with Pete Sturgeon at Ruapuna on Sunday, he was driving his 3 litre Capri as the BMW is on its way to Aus for Jim Richards to drive over there.

Got a few more but they wont up load. You notice in the "Team" shot we have Jim Richards, Ludwig Finaur (racer and engine builder for JPS) and Pip Barker who built the JPS cars.

David, this thread was started on 21 January 2012, and is about the 2012 NZFMR / BMW Festival - hence the title. No we're not a year behind here in NZ.

Sorry to confuse you David, it is what was at last years Amon Festival and is an appertiser for what may be seen and more over next couple of weekends at Denny Hulme Festival Hampton Downs.
