#61 Think you will find it is Ron Kendall in the skoda, actually positive it is.
Ron prepared these cars and had occassional drive. Was quick as well. Actually leed the Waiuku rally after couple of stages against real good company.

The photo in post 61 is from Maramarua in 1973 and the only Skodas were driven by Laurie Evans and Morrie Chandler.

Robert van Gisbergen. His son Shane is doing very well in Supercars now with Triple 8, but Robert was himself a very talented race driver in his day.

Car 29 in 1981 was Peter Moore and Peter Jones in a Toyota Starlet.

Car 56 in 1980 was Craig Bird and Don Hodge in a Gold 2393cc Datsun.

Yes, Steve, Robert competed in the Hillclimb Bardahl series in 1979/80 as did I - a quick driver..

Time for some rotaries.
