Wow, once again, great pics ! In amongst them...in post #43, the #136 and 137 minis would be the dayglo red pair of John Weston/Tim Slako, in post #46 Graeme Lawrence is in the McLaren M4A, and the Brabham is David Oxton in the ex-Ken Sager car, in post #49 the #124 would be Geoff Mardon in a Begg with #52 Dexter Dunlop in the McRae, in post #50 the #3 is Mike Campbell in the Forsgrini Ford and the #77 is the Tom Wheatcroft 2.5 Brabham Cosworth piloted by Derek Bell.

I think the # 124 yellow open wheeler is one of the Begg FM2 chassis, and the red and white #52 following is
Dexter Dunlop in the FVA McRae S2

Cool , thanks Bailey. Certainly looks like a Begg FM2 with black tape added to make it 124 instead of its prior 24.
Will check back later. Just received 28 more to clean up. YEp GD66 confirmed
Cheers
Tony

Thanks GD66. Have added/altered to match. Hearing the names again helps with the memory.

post #36, the man measuring noise is wasting his time with the grandstand acting as an echo chamber. Should these numbers come up in future noise complaints dispute them. You have photographic proof the operator did not know his job

Thats all for now, hope you enjoy. I will edit posts as people can help with any names. Much appreciated for the help.
Keith always says he is sorry he ruined my life by dragging me along to the races as a mascot from the time I was about 3 or 4 years old at which time I could name most of the cars and drivers, single seater and saloon.
I am most definitely not sorry he did as it was the best years of my life going to the races at Puke, Baypark, Speedway/Stockcars at Western Springs and Waikaraka and Stockcars at Forest Lake Speedway in Hamilton. I must admit I enjoyed the Stockcars more than the speedway but we always went to the big meets at the Springs.
He has more pics to dig out and go through, unsure at this stage what he will find although he did mention he had some London to Sydney Marathon shots from when he was living in Sydney. Should have some shots of the older Aussie racing somewhere and maybe some more NZ stuff as well.
Keith wants to get a new scanner to get a better image first though so when he does them I will start a Part 2 Thread to post them in.
Cheers
Tony
PS John Mc - I am still working on the Monaro pic to get it Bronze as it should be
