Found this, maybe some one would like a project.

1976 Hillman Avenger Alpine.

motor and front suspension missing but the rest is pretty good as was in shed until delivered to yard for disposal.
Body is basically rust free and is straight.

If interested give me a yell it is at a friends yard.

That Hillman Alpine is listed on trademe see here.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/other-accessories/auction-637988179.htm

And if you picked up this one with mint running gear you could make one from these and it could be on a track near you.

Oh alright then, I suppose it is nice. I still have a little 'thing' about Japanese bikes. Even though i was a Suzuki dealer and Dad had Kawasaki and Yamaha.
That is a beauty however.

Won the British saloon car championship back in its day, driven I think by Bernard Unett.

You are correct, it is in pretty good condition really and a shame if it was lost.

What were they thinking. Loving how this Beemer is matching the safety barriers. Photo doesn't do justice to dayglo trim on the wheels

Classic, good part of that new 'wrap' put it on to tidy car or remove when finished if only for promo. Nephew does it on boats and cars, very effective. Good on boats, seen a few commercial boats up here and it lasts good.
