Hello Ray, when was the photo of the yellow Alfa taken?

If you run your mouse over any image I post, it should come up with the name. For the Alfa, that would then be:

224_0324_323 - in this case, that means 2024, March 24th, image number 323.

I gather that John Surtees is to be celebrated at the Goodwood Revival and also the Jaguar XK engine. Whilst trying to sort out some as yet not filed pics, I came across a Surtees displayed at the 1973 Racing Car Show. The quality isn't the best but I won't scrap it. I've added 3 other Surtees pics.

I've been having a bit of a trawl through pics I've scanned, but not filed, as there is some confusion as to what date they were taken.

Back in 1985, TACCOC issued printed numbers so that confirmed October 27th, but I'm guessing that the other film might have been October 13th but I can't be sure without an entry list.

A bit of memorabilia which is self explanatory. Mallory Park Nottingham Sports Car Club. Probably the most successful local car club in the country at the time. Only BRSCC and BARC were bigger.

Last post for a while. Only one day at the Goodwood Revival this time so I'll have to snap as much as possible. No other car stuff planned other than maybe another call in at Gaydon but the displays don't change much.

From the Goodwood FoS 2004. A film I hadn't scanned until yesterday.
