Thanks guys. Just that the wings looked new or I hadn't noticed them before.
Thanks Alan. If you are prepared to put money on it, that is all I need At least I can file it! Spent far too many hours lately trying to date slides. Sometimes you get the information almost as a side issue. Dating Silverstone and Curborough Sprints is a tough one and there are still one or two Pukekohe queries outstanding. About 95% only relate to dates.

Back again to Prescott 1971
Hepworth. I think that they have recently re-commissioned the BRM CanAm.
April 1973 - just a very short time after the V12 E Type was launched - Curborough.
Croft 1977 - Davrian
Donington 1980
Funny that the TR3 was my childhood favourite sports car, yet I have owned many MGs, but never a Triumph!

This might be February 6th 1983, but it has to be a guess.
Donington Museum 1987
Lola FJ 1988
Whenuapai 1989 - again, I think. Was it the same Brabham wearing #57, that appeared later with a fresh paint job?

Still working my way through old slides... About 3 - 4 hours a day/night.
Shelsley Walsh 1967
Racing Car Show 1971
Donington 1980
Now to the frustrating Pukekohe meetings, where dates are so difficult. Are these three all on the same date? I'm guessing December 11th 1983 - but I could be way wrong. It could well be much earlier, even as early as February 1983, as I obviously wasn't flagging, or much later say 1985, when I went just once as a spectator, with my wife to be.

This one could be December 11th 1983 as 24 and 8 tie in with the programme.

Graham McGregor in the Continental Car Services Golf GTI #2 was in the Sports Sedans & Clubmans Saloons on March 27th 1983 and Geoff Welson in the Avenger GLS #57 was in the Production Super Car Series on the same day but they don't appear in the same race in the programme. From the Motoring News report of that meeting it seems there was some mixing of the two classes but I can not confirm that.
Tony Alderton E49 Charger #49 was entered in the Production Super Car races on March 27th 1983.

I guessed right! Thanks again Milan. I did have it down for December 11th. Looks as though Veen Smith hadn't graduated to the Commodore!
You might also have sorted the March 27th meeting.

Ardmore 1989
Pukekohe 1989
I think this is February 1992
Taupo 2003, Gordon Burr's Alfa about to be flagged away in the ERC handicap.
I'm a bit of a theme park junkie and the 'Tram Tour' at Universal Studios has always been a favourite. There is a section of the tram ride that passes a display of cars from the movies and TV, hence the Ferrari, September 2018.
Legends 2019 just to give a bit of variety.

Another trawl through recent scans!
My first saloon - following on from the 850cc minivan. I bought this as a modified twin carb 850cc mini that had obviously been well built as it went surprisingly well. I owned it twice.
Sold it to get married. Stupid boy... Bought it back again just over a year later after that marriage failed, before moving on to a 998cc Cooper.
Prescott 1971. This may have been Basil Dagge's Imp which was a very quick car.
Front end posted previously. Mini based Peel Viking.
1975 - Tony Brise again in the Embassy Hill.
Magnum Aston Turbo - John Pope Special
Undated Silverstone test 1977. I'm guessing now it was the end of March.

From the various and sundries pile...
St Petersburg 2014
Austin J40 pedal cars - 2018 and 2016
The most boring aspect of Goodwood, bar none. With just 20% of the paying spectators watching as Nigel Fotheringham-Ffoulkes tries to out out-pedal Amanda Twitterington-St John, 80% of the spectators around the track, who have in many cases travelled hundreds (or even thousands) of miles and paid huge money to watch some motor racing, have nothing at all to look at other than damp tarmac, as not all areas have a big screen. This annual farce takes place on the Saturday AND Sunday. If you are at the outer reaches of the track, there isn't even a classic car park to wander around either.
A total waste of time, but if you do have a decent vantage spot at the fence, you daren't leave it to go and grab a bite to, eat as the crowds in popular spots are huge and a prime spot has to be retained at all costs!
