I can never work out how to shrink them either, every forum is different somehow, so I always put them on Photobucket and put the links in here then you get the picture in full size but it doesn't chew up this forum's space. That's my low tech way of making it easy

John McKechnie wrote:Andrew- absolutely stunning pics mate You are a credit to the Historic Car movement.
Next outgoing for our boys will be 29-30 March at Hampton Downs at the Legend of Speed event.
I am advising people now, and if you have a suitable car for this group and want to run , please contact me.
John, I would just like to say personally what a fantastic effort you went to organising the pre 85 all comers at the Ferrari festival mate, I can speak for both Shane Johnson and myself when I say that we had a stunning two weekends of exciting and enjoyable racing. I had an absolute ball giving the old XA a proper good caning while duelling with Adrian and my old nemesis Ron. I would also like to say your choice in choosing Adrian for the prize was inspired, he typifies the dedication required to keep a historic sedan alive and running while making sure that he gives as good as he gets on the track - totally a classic racer through and through.
Once again thanks for letting me run with a great bunch of guys driving some truly legendary historic racers, a highlight would have to be being left for dead by Kenny smith driving Ivan Selaks gorgeous blue escort at the hairpin, horsepower vs handling -,mate, that's what racing is all about, hats off to John, Ron, Tony et al for making it happen
Best regards
Cam

#284-This is from John Telford who will have his car at Legends of Speed-Fantastic
John
Just a brief history. The car was built in the late 80's by Greg Transom for his partner Jennifer Mossman
It was then sold to Jennifers brother Ralf Mossman who mainly raced in OSCAR series down south.
The car was originally powered with a 310 cubic inch fisher chev, then Ralf repowered it with a 305 chaparral chev F5000 motor,
which was originally from his Viva!!! The car never ran or competed with this engine, it was then repowered with a 358 cubic inch Marsh Chev .
Now it has a 358 cubic inch cast block dodge engine. I have owned the car for four years and it took me two years to restore it.
I know it is not a PC car, but it is pretty close to it.
Hope this helps.
Have attached another photo
Cheers Jon

Barry Algie has very kindly let me go through his photo album, his dad took a lot 1979-1990.
I will be posting them here to warm up the atmosphere for the March 29-30 legends meeting
