Some footage from the weekend of the annual race we have each year for original Cox brand 1/24th scale slot cars. The winning car was a Cheetah.

Chaindrive - Tony, Thanks
I have now put the Big scale version of the Healey's in their own covered cabinet a perspex box on a black base - now have to paint the coreflute and timber that I will use to stage them with other Austin Healey regalia - badges and a background photo.
Another work in progress.!
They will be above an American Corvette Garage scene with road and race Corvette's a Tow Truck a Tyre Truck and garage workshop tools and equipment including Hoists with cars on - here is an early attempt at it.
Again need a background scene of an old garage with signs etc..
Yet another work in progress. !!
The components - base with Snap-on Hoists and some coreflute, and the two [ so far ] sets of tools.
Early idea with vehicles in place but no tools - and need some mechanics.
The perspex Box cover then slips over the top of the base with the garage hoist bases and the coreflute - painted.

Photo from Jeff Drobot from a Facebook page called Scale 143
There were quite a few NZ Drivers who raced them so it seems appropriate they should appear on here.

I had that slot car body, dropped on a home made sidewinder chassis - think I bought it from Martins. My paint job was even worse!
