I don't know the people in the photo, but the #20 red and white Brabham BT6 is the Brownlie car circa 1967.

As well as the BCM Special 'aka' Red Ball Special. I think that deep down he was a hot rodder!!!!

I don't think it was ever called Fireball at the time it appeared in that colour scheme. I was at Bob McMurdo's paint shop one night when Leo Sexton the signwriter applied all the stripes and it was certainly refered to as the Red Ball Special, with a similar scheme that an Indy car had.
Looking at the photo in post #29 it does not look like John Reid driving, more like Keith McLelland who raced the car at the Teretonga Championship Meetings on 15/10/67 and also on 10/12/67 [info from Teretonga 25]

Ivy Stephenson raced a 23, but I don't know if this is it - I thought it was white.
