Check the size of that crowd! People sure were motley in the '70s.

This was Paul Chapmans spinner I believe
318 mopar and torqueflight, tilt front. Was an original 2 dr we towed it out of Auckland city back to Howick one night on a chain behind a 6 wheeler tip truck, we often used to joke about the "stretched doors"

This would have been a pretty old car by the time this photo was taken.

Ivan Jujnovich and his Chevy Nova. Being a muscle car guy, I find it fascinating seeing some of the cars that found their way to NZ back then. Two door Chevy Novas are rare as hens teeth even now. Does this car still exist?

I just love this thing. Aussie visitor Warren Goodall and his mad blown Hemi powered Austin pick-up. Must have been a real handful with that short wheelbase. Thats his wife in picture.

If late 70's I would have been in that crowd, is that a 69/70 Shelby parked up the hill.......great photos.

So was I on the hill. Do you remember the toilets over the hill ???
Re: Photos: The Allan Porter Collection - Part 3
I think it's a '71 Mach Dale. The rear roof line looks too flat to be a '69-'70.
