Without checking any programmes...

Top one looks like the Kato Special, then
the Lotus 15, I think in John Armstrong's day
John Riley's rebodied F1 Lotus, probably before it got its Oldsmobile engine
the Heron-Daimler
Not immediately recognisable - I'll have to think abpout it
one of the Lolas - probably Ivy Stephenson's

I think the Lola with carrying No44 it was possibly in Dave Wallaces time,as I have some other photos of it that look very similar
I think the John Riley Lotus photo was early in the piece when it had the Climax ,because I think it grew bigger tyres later on,likewise I have got to think on the No 33 taken on that angle

I think the 33 car might be a Lotus, though I don't recognise the paintjob. Either one of the XIs, or the Scurrah/Richards Lotus-Consul (rebodied)

Just checked the programme for the '67 geepee meeting. No.32 was Dave Holloway in the Kato Special, and 33 was Ron Williams in a Lotus-Climax 1100. This was the ex-Basil Campion car which Williams put through the fence and onto the railway-line

Ged, Johnny Armstrong is living in Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Runs a rental car company.

I always understood that the only thing MG about the Crowe/Armstrong car was its body - it was basically a V8 special

Rob Shand Jr raced it at the first Dunedin historic meeting, and I believe it is now a member of the Mauger family
