RiP Indeed. Met him many times over the years and probably a driver who deserved more recognition than he got.

Dennis Marwood,
RIP Dennis Marwood, Indeed he had a long time in Motorsports starting in the 1950's.
His early exploits were in the Waikato with an MG TD. his car on the left.
This from an archive of Dennis and others at Waharoa Airport Grass Sprints.
- Believe the photos was from Dennis own archives.
His Humber 80 is a car well remembered and very competitive.
This from Mt Maunganui Street Races in 1963 or 64 - Alan Boyle archives.
1971 this was his car - at the NZIGP meeting in January. - my own photo.
The Camaro was followed by a time with Single Seaters of various capacities.

Dennis Marwood - in an early event in March 1956
John Windelburn sent me this in what he believes is Dennis Marwood first event in the MG TD.
The Waikato Motor Racing Club event a North Island Championship Hill Climb ... held on the 17th March 1956.
John was there in his Morris Minor which he had prior to the Austin A35 and many others cars since.
The previously posted photo of Dennis at Waharoa in the MG TD is also believed to be from 1956
