Yes, that's the first two all right...

One of only about four times that young Douglas turned out in that car. He surprised Macrow in this race, with Peter trying to crowd him at the next corner and learning two things:

1. Doug wasn't timid about things.

2. Rennmax wheels are stronger than Cheetah wheels.

All of which paved the way for the third car in the picture to move up a place. Who do you think is driving that one?

By the way, the Heasman car, though often referred to at that time as a BN6, is a BN7 by the 'official' Rennmax numbering system.

The nose of the third car looks like an Elfin 600.

No, a far more prominent car than his...
