Wow,
What sort of Rules do they run under
- think MANZ, MSNZ, Motorsport New Zealand ( whatever it is called !! ) would have a cardiac ' [ pun intended ].
Last jalopy doesn't seem to have a radiator, but does have headlights for short night trips ??
Saw your other photo's on FB Nigel .. Thanks.

As a formula this has a lot going for it in several respects, particularly in respect of overall value for money.

Note that they are wearing foam neck braces though, so all is good safety wise...
Great shots Nigel. Cars with 'attitude'.

Thanks Ray.
Just found out today that I was successful in my application for a msnz accreditation, so it's back into the motorsport phase again.
Looking forward to the Historic GP in a couple of weeks. Should be really good with a few cars that I haven't seen before.

Well done Nigel. I won't be at Taupo I'm afraid, so look forward to pics of cars not seen before.
Should probably change my user name to Silver 08...

Rules? Just a quick chat to all participants before it started. Very simple. Everyone understood what was required, and the day ran without a hitch.

Re: Recent images from my past ~ Nigel Watts Collection Pt 2
Nigel,
These last photos bring back memories as I remember my dad taking us to a stock car meet in the 1950s at Te Rapa and then of course we would make Hamilton's Forest Lake the big weekend event in the late 60s and 70s before racing back to Morrinsville in our assortment of Minis and Anglias etc.
For obvious reasons I will sadly not be attending the Historic Taupo meet this month so you will have to be my eyes Nigel.
I will also miss our annual Morrinsville musings together.
All the best to one and all and I look forward to the photos.
Ken H.

Great to see you have got thru the system Nigel. Tim Hill, Tony Roberts and myself battled to get it sensible....
HMC/HSC have a grid of 37 cars and we have closed off apart from members.....we are far from dead yet and have started up in the South Island with Wayne Perkins.
