Now back in NZ with the pile of pics taken in the UK so far whittled down to just over 3,000... Still cropping and deleting before moving on to deleting duplicates. Just a few more from Goodwood to be going on with.
The lighter green of the 2 Altas was one of the stars of the Goodwood trophy, finishing in 3rd place.
I wonder which of the above may well have been taken by dad at Donington in 1939? (Posted previously) Judging by the seating position and maybe the mirrors, it looks more like the dark green one, even though the colour in the black and white pic looks as though it was light green, but the wheels are smaller - a common complaint about several of today's 1930's cars is the wheel size not being original.

This Scarab (one of two) failed in practice, so the intrepid owners shot back to Nottingham for their Cooper Bristol!
The Lancia D50 (a re-creation - although not noted as such) also failed to start the race, seen here at the end of its practice.
This Frazer Nash survived but the other Frazer Nash was another race non-starter.
