Gary Wilkinson here, Steve let me know about this site and very happy he did, there is already plenty to get my head around so far and I know there is much more to come.
I think this period of Motorsport was the best,, it's a shame I was too young to be involved but I do remember those Sun & Wind Burnt days at Wigram along with the sound of a BDA in full song. Fantastic!!!
I own a Gp5 Zakspeed Escort and will get a thread on the cars colorful history going soon.

Hi there Gary, welcome to the site. Its great to have you here. I'm really looking forward to you starting a thread on your Zakspeed Escort. I find these cars fascinating, and that whole era of the DRM. Hopefully you can include some info on the DRM as well. Its actually quite challenging to find info on this subject.
