My name is Jay Bowden.
I spent my youth leaning over the Fence at Lakeside and Surfers Paradise Raceway from the mid 70's.
I live not far from Lakeside and frequently go there to watch and sometimes compete.
I own a 1963 GT Cortina that is still in appendix J guise. I also own a 1965 Lotus Cortina that was log booked in the 60's and has race history throughout Victoria in the hands of Norm Watts.

Hi Jay, welcome to The Roaring Season! Its great to have you here. Wow, your Cortina's are stunning! They look like great fun. Hope you've enjoyed some of the period Cortina photos posted on the site so far. I love the shot of your car at Calder in amongst the Humpies.
