Actually I think Oldfart is holding out on us here. Anne has parked the Darracq in the Highland Park museum, [apparently] and has done a deal with Oldfart for the Austin 7. After too many pies, he has found he cant get into the A7 anymore, whereas it just fits Anne like a glove............LoL....

Don't fink so Gerald! GeeBee did a deal with Wal and Anne on his Nippy about this time last year, seen for sale on TradeMe again recently. From another source (unnamed) the requests for cars for Highland Museum were a bit one sided.
I am more than prepared to say that Anne is in better shape than I am. (I have only seen her as a "flapper" at the Leadfoot and as the Queen of Hearts and in her Stig overalls, every time looked better than me, but I don't eat pies (often)

There was a young guy, a teenager, at this event who built and rode a vintage Villiers motorbike. Can anyone tell me who he is and how I might contact him?

Steve, he is Ollie (Oliver) son of Rob McNair and grandson of Wallace. Magnificent piece of work for a young fellow, but just a touch of pedigree! I will PM you a contact.

Seeing the photo of the Darracq reminded me of when it was brought over for the Phillip Island Classic and just wondering how Anne managed to stay in the vehicle when going through Turn 4.

This event was absolutely marvellous! One of, if not the best automotive event I have ever attended. More than just the cars, it was a general "vibe" to the event that couldn't be beat! Some photos:

Yours was the Gulf blue Cobra I assume? Yep I sure do... stay tuned
