That is Richard, and he undid Erics belts and gave a pull out of the car, .Eric said the fire started when restarted and it must have back fired and petrol mist in the aircleaner ignited and started the fire, his back got very hot very quickly, but he said he was watching the guy with the extingusher, knew he was on fire, and thought he would running over, but then Richard came running in, and helped him out, he was very glad of his 3 layer overalls.
neale wrote:Agreed Rod. Its not the first time I've seen this sort of thing before either. I'd guess that the guy in the blue shirt was trying to fire the onboard extinguisher but IMO it didnt look to be working, which may be the reason why the driver bailed out earlier.
