Yup was telling us that a wee while ago (built up an engine for my mate's Allegro). Last time I was there the head was off - would be so good to see it on the track again!

I know a guy in Invercargill that has a Lotus Cortina Twin Cam on a Mini gearbox. He made up his own mould for the top of the gearbox to suit the Ford engine. Car was good for 131mph on the main straight of Teretonga. Needed 1m either side of it during a gearshift due to the torque steer! 528298 ...
