Hi Steve, I'd happily pay around the $50.00 mark to have access to the site. I agree with Lyndsay's comment above re contributors staying on board would be vital.

Cheers, Richard.

Re: Early NZ Rallies

I see there's an RX3 that rallied in the late 70's (in pieces) that appeared on Trademe yesterday, looks like an interesting car with most of the original bits still with it.

Sorry, some errors in the last post. Should read 'who wouldn't love to be the owner of that Escort'. Must start checking before hitting the button.

The car in the article was the other surviving car, GG43. It looks to be in great nick as well.

Re: Early NZ Rallies

That was their colours Tunny, and it certainly looks the part, one very nice and historic car. Think Colin Taylor drove the other car, I may have photos. Did this car do the Ruby RallyFest celebration rally out of Hamilton about 5 years back or was on display in the pavillion. It could well have ...

Hi Steve, one of the cars is shown on the Heatway Rally programme (I think 1973) and it is in the colours. I 'm not sure which of the cars that was though, possibly GG43?

Graham Carter was the first driver of GG42; the car was then sold to and rallied by Ken Cleghorn. The previous own ...
