before fitting any aftermarket items such as these , it is best to contact -check with Vintage car club racing section or Historic register as to their eligability. Lots of GRP & Alloy panels everywhere, in the mid -late 80s, I worked with a Former Allan Mann UK employee, Jim Rose , at Holman Moody ,charlotte NC; and techniques & materials used in those early years were often the topic of conversation at Lunch break.

This will be that car that Kwaussie refers to as having raced at Teretonga in 1977 by R Haines. These photos seen here were taken at a club race day, Ruapuna park and later at a local hillclimb. Sorry, I meant the Craw car, listed as 2000 CC in entrie's, don't know of any Rootes group motor that would go out to that sizs. Dave Craw informs me that that first engine used at Dunedin, Wigram & Ohakea- Ardmore events, was over 2litre and built by Eric Swinbourne. it had so much torque all he ...

Many thanks, after some discussion with dave craw, he did keep the car until 92, so the kennet - Rangiora entered car may have been Green and also an earlier model. , but thanks for the great photo.
