Can anybody help me with any information about this car. Apparently it is one of two. Possibly built on a Triumph Herald chassis.

When Peter moved to New Zealand I am pretty sure that he bought a Falcon Mk1 body with him to use ...

Re: NZ Cars - A Cottage Industry
Patrick, no disrespect and thank you for the work, it is long overdue, however we have had a number of release dates, and as a result I will not pre-order. Had this been closer to some of the previous times, no question. Congratulations for the work you have undertaken, and please accept that most ...

Agreed. Here is a picture of what it looked like before it went to America.

Another car very similar to the Tiki is the Puma produced by Frank Cantwell in Christchurch. The puma shown below used to belong to Brian Avery of Ashurst and now resides in America.

Re: NZ Cars - A Cottage Industry
With this car it is very hard to know who is right and who is wrong. Such is the intrigue and mystery. Anzani is the correct spelling for the motor. When I originally typed up the letter I copied the hard to read and faded handwriting in letter for letter. After which a bit of research confirmed ...

Re: NZ Cars - A Cottage Industry
I have done some research into both these cars and I am pretty sure that Kiwi Gs car is the Anzani Special. Neither the Anzani or the Tiki made it into my book as I was unable to get enough information substantiated before time of print. If there is a second book this car should be in it. Below is a ...

Thanks Paul.
I am sure that it will be worth the trip. There will be a few beaten up and unfinished cars on display as well as some classic oldsters that are being restored.

Good News. I forwarded your question to my car expert in Wanganui and his reply is below.... Hi Patrick, Yes this is the V K Special built by Vince Keats and a very nice little beast it was. I think it was Zepher powered but I will get round to see Vince this week some time and get him to Email the ...
