Our Scimitar SE4a,owned 1985/88 ,raced it at Pukekohe and Whenuapai,was the ex Ganley car.1St pic out in front of my old school Auckland Grammar.

Yes, I did own it,went to Brisbane area Australia he bought the trailer also,the plan was to keep the trailer and look at buying a Formula Ford,spoilt my plans!Visited the car few years back,he had the motor out ,looked a bit sad,he had also imported a Mistral from NZ and had that there ...

We bought our Lotus Elan Sprint from Charlie,when I think now what else was sitting in the showroom at that time ! Good to see he his healthy and still with it,someone needs to do a book on him.Always good to talk cars with him when browsing his stock.

I seem to remember many years ago,and i am talking many,there was a lot of disatisfaction about MSN when they really start to pump up the fees,as memory serves me a breakaway group was formed i think, BUT,basically had no where to race as the circuit owners/operators shut then out .Does anyone else ...

Can i ask a question,historic race cars,open cars,ie those race by HRSCC,Vintage Car Club, etc,do not need seatbelts [?] ,roll cages [?] ,is that true? Speaking off Hillman Husky's [my first car] saw this when we were down at Whanganui a couple of weekends ago at the Caboodle Festival.They had amongst a variety of events a car show in the main street on saturday,this little car was outstanding,the motor i was told is a Simca V8 !
