Just found this,thought it had got lost,Rosebank Rd,around 1978, myself in front,[but not for long,Graeme Wade coming up fast behind and along side Adele Ineson/Karlsson.

Gee I feel I am missing out here ..............Only car I can find here with 32 on it looks like a Ford or Holden.............I can work that out . LOL

We bought our Lotus Elan Sprint from Charlie,when I think now what else was sitting in the showroom at that time ! Good to see he his healthy and still with it,someone needs to do a book on him.Always good to talk cars with him when browsing his stock.

I seem to remember many years ago,and i am talking many,there was a lot of disatisfaction about MSN when they really start to pump up the fees,as memory serves me a breakaway group was formed i think, BUT,basically had no where to race as the circuit owners/operators shut then out .Does anyone else ...

Whats their history and have they ever competed in anything.Bit like the current government perhaps all they have ever done is University .

Then you have to ask who set these rules and regulations,evidently they were not racers,to use a phrase,who voted them in and what is their agenda ?You have to wonder about these folks,are they for the sport or not,you hear politicians going down the line "Lets make it easier for business to do ...

Speaking off Hillman Husky's [my first car] saw this when we were down at Whanganui a couple of weekends ago at the Caboodle Festival.They had amongst a variety of events a car show in the main street on saturday,this little car was outstanding,the motor i was told is a Simca V8 ! Remember Pukekohe Circuit toilets behind the tote,you could "Hang Out", with all the famous drivers.!!

I finished up watching it on Youtube,and the sound went funny on that for a short time.
