The" K-Mart" petrol cap in lieu of the original GT cap was a sure fire way of inducing spillage down the rear quarter but the glue on the original 3M stripes would hold up well unlike the repro stripes today.

The ex John Goss Ph3 was sold off to NZ after JG converted over to the XAGT Hardtop,does anyone have photos of this car?

A great spectactle was the sight of his tow set up which consisted of his Silver-Fox GTHO Ph 2 hauling the enclosed trailer with the MRC aboard.Now a Ph2 is quite a lumpy beast just propelling it self around but as a tow vehicle the mind boggles.

Found this photo in an old copy of FORD by Stewart Wilson with an interesting pair of shots.The top car is obviously sporting the XW mirror and interior.Perhaps they had a pool of cars with the latest cars reserved for the major events and the updated previous year model for the local races?[ATTACH ...

Note the XW external rear vision mirror giving away the cars PH2 origins,I did see Moffat driving a similar car at Calder early 72 which would indicate even the factory updated previous seasons cars to the latest spec. This looked to be a PH3 with five slotters but on closer inspection had the XW ...

67E was ( I think) Yellow Glo with a white interior which was an unusual PH3 colour combination and I remember looking at 13D in the pits at Bathurst 1972 and it had been painted a wild candy dark blue which was very distinctive,a pity the clutch let go on lap 26.
