Yes, Pete Delore owned my old ex 1960 Palmer Lotus 20B. I ran 5.50 x15 Dunlops on wobblies on the rear. What size on your car as looks like they could be 600's. Chris Read, Arrowtown.

My 1955 BCM Special with Dave Mills talking to Malcolm McLeod in the pits. Note the old cross plys and they were original cases with retreads of some soft compound rubber. The 1 3/4 carbs are off Ernie Sprague's Zephyr when he put side drafts on. Still in my ownership and still 2250 cc Vauxhall ...

Re: Flat Plane Cranks
This issue has been bugging me for years. Did one of the guys racing Mustangs back in '66-67, re engine his car with a flat plane crank motor? I can't recall the exact meeting, but one of the Mustangs - white with stripes, I'm sure , had an engine that sounded decidedly different - more like a ...

Raced on Puke with and without chicanes. I think I liked the chicanes better because in my opinion it added a little more skill and daring, but mostly more passing opportunities under brakes. You had to get through the back straight chicane without slowing excessively to be fast. Many will disagree ...
