Yes, Pete Delore owned my old ex 1960 Palmer Lotus 20B. I ran 5.50 x15 Dunlops on wobblies on the rear. What size on your car as looks like they could be 600's. Chris Read, Arrowtown.

Cooper Vincent 'Jilly' definitely Dave Silcock. Dave had it going soooo fast everything was wired shut otherwise it would shake to bits. He won the WN street race leaving behind a huge array of English F 2 cars.....Listers, Cooper Bristols, Lotus.......go Dave..

Car 60 is 1964 Capella. Steve, as the owner these last 40 yrs of the only surviving BCM single seaters can you put me in touch with the owner of the BCM V8 manifold so I can add it to the history. The ali cast insignia's on the race car are exactly the same. thanks....Chris Read-Arrowtown.

Raced on Puke with and without chicanes. I think I liked the chicanes better because in my opinion it added a little more skill and daring, but mostly more passing opportunities under brakes. You had to get through the back straight chicane without slowing excessively to be fast. Many will disagree ...
