Re: The Roaring Season Questionnaire: Please Read And Reply
I would encourage you to consider other sources of revenue! There should be a "Donate" button on every page, and there should be a "V.I.P." contributor list accessible from every page so that people can see that their friends have chipped in... alternatively or additionally, you could join the ranks ...

Re: Graeme Lawrence's exciting 1971 season abroad
Well...I've completed and uploaded a very detailed article about Graeme Lawrence's racecar to this address. Fascinating stuff! Thanks again to everyone who helped me gather the information. Here's the link: Murray Sinclair's (ex Graeme Lawrence) Brabham BT29 Racecar (includes ~50 close-up photos ...

Re: Graeme Lawrence's exciting 1971 season abroad
I'm still looking for anything I can turn up on this car's history. It probably looked a lot like this, except with wings installed: http://www.britishracecar.com/MurraySinclair-Brabham-BT29/MurraySinclair-Brabham-BT29-AF.jpg The blue windscreen interests me. I've heard that McLaren fitted some ...

Thanks! I've updated the first post with information from your various replies.
Is it as accurate as we can get it now?

Re: Graeme Lawrence's exciting 1971 season abroad
Still prodding at this... It seems that "Shah Alam circuit" and "Batu Tiga circuit" are two names for the same racetrack, which incidentally closed down in 2003. No? So the Rothman's series raced twice at the same circuit in 1971? Or was there another circuit then? (Johor’s Circuit at Pasir Gudang d ...

Re: Denny Hulme's McLaren M23 - up close
Let's see... (I've attached a sample, below.) Since this particular M19 is currently for sale, you'd think it'd be easy to get photos of. Not one person has tossed change into my tip jar since the M23 article was published - and it's been downloaded from my server a couple thousand times already ...

Thanks! I started using that name (BritishV8) after inheriting responsibility for a website by that name... mostly for people who plug American V8 engines into MGs and Triumphs. I built and have been driving this one since about '91: http://www.preformresources.com/MGB/CarbonFiberRV8Hood-1.jpg

Re: Graeme Lawrence's exciting 1971 season abroad
Thanks David. That's good progress. I have one source that says he won the Malaysian GP and another that says he finished second... where might I find more information? I tried contacting Graeme through Facebook, but the way he has his entry set-up (as a public figure) doesn't allow messages from ...

Graeme Lawrence's exciting 1971 season abroad
Graeme Lawrence bought Evan Noyes' Brabham BT29 in early 1971, uprated it, and campaigned it all over the far east... Can you help verify the accuracy of any of the following information and/or help fill in missing data? Graeme Lawrence's 1971 Race Results (in his Brabham BT29 ...

Re: Denny Hulme's McLaren M23 - up close
Were there any other F1 cars there that you managed to photograph for those of us who weren't able to make the meeting. I took a lot of photos of Revson's M19C-2, but sadly it never left the garages and also its body panels never came off... so I'll probably need to catch it at a second race ...

Denny Hulme's McLaren M23 - up close
The U.S. isn't among of the best places to see vintage Formula One cars in person, but occasionally a very kind soul will bring their car for a visit. Phil Mauger shipped his spectacular McLaren M23 over for back-to-back race weekends at Lime Rock and Watkins Glen this past September - Denny's 1973 ...
