One of these MK 1 Cortinas would have been purple at one time. 74/5/6. I did some guard flaring and paint touch up on a Chev powered one. Dont remember his name but he worked at Sandridge hotel burger bar at nights.

I remember this car. Avon Hyde drove it for a while then Dean Kirk had a go. Clyde either owned it or ran the team. May have come to nz to Sydnham Park via Rob Kenard. May be wrong as a few came about that time. Eddie's first was about that time. May have done a season later by Ryan of boat racing ...

In Dunedin with Tony Mann. Races it regulaly at Teretonga etc. I missed a great photo oppertunity at feb classic race meeting. No 1 and 2 on the grid were metallic blue old O.S.C.A. Capri's. Could have been early 70's line up.
