Re: Peter Finch Monaro
Thanks for the Develco info Bondy. Are you aware of the specification or any other details of of the car at all? Were Develco SA based? Yes Develco were SA Based, Simon Aram and Bernie Pfitzner. I can't recall much about the car but i think Racing Car News did a story on Dave Jarrett's Camaro being ...

Re: Peter Finch Monaro
The Peter Finch Monaro was built by Develco. They also built the Clem Smith Charger, re built the Grant Jarrett Camaro (ex Peter Finch/Jon Kay Indy Speedshop) and Tony Parkinson Commodore (Later to Bob Jolly etc) to name a few. The Finch Monaro was 2nd overall at the Sandown July 81 ASSC round.

Re: NASCAR Racing
Hey David, that "good ol' boy" drawl is pretty normal, I live in southern Virginia, one of my neighbors is retired NASCAR driver Ward Burton (Daytona 500 winner, the holy grail of NASCAR) and you would need a chainsaw to cut through his slow and thick southern drawl. Another neighbor is Bill Hill ...

Re: JR's McMillan Ford GTHO ph3 Biante 1/18 model due for release
Sorry for my ignorance Bondy, but is resin plastic, like the old kitsets models? I am no expert on Resin Steve, but basically they use a form of plastic mold and fill it with a liquid synthetic resin which hardens. It is much cheaper than diecast tooling and great for when you can't get the numbers ...

Re: Hoping for a bit of help in identifying and locating an old sports sedan
Hi Wayne, John was from Ballarat iirc, when he and i raced @ Winton in 1997 (Superkarts supporting Supertruck meet) he was telling me he was building a Mazda RX7 Sports Sedan for the 2 Litre Series. I still know some guys in the Superkart scene so i will ask if anyone knows how to contact him. In ...

Re: Le Mans - The Movie
Wow, that is cool! I bought GP Legends when it was first released, must have been back in the late 90s. It was incredible for the time, and each car had its very different characteristics, eg, the Brabham was sure-footed and reliable, but not as fast as some of the other cars. The Lotus was a ...
