Re: Starlet wheels
Hello Roarers, This is the longest of long shots. We need a spare wheel for our Toyota Starlet KP60 race car. We have a set of four Performance Superlites (Minilite knockoffs but nice wheels in their own right) 13 x 6in rims, 114.3mm PCD and +12 offset. We would dearly like to acquire another to ...

Re: Christchurch Drag Racing 70's and 80's
This is bloody fantastic Bry! Where do you find this stuff? The Impala jump is pretty mental. What were they thinking? That thing must weigh 2 tons. I vaguely recall an Impala being used in a stunt shot for the Shaker Run movie, where gets fired off a jump ramp. I don't think it was actually used ...

I have other stuff on it as well including the Ashburton Flying mile, Wild Bill Shrewsbury pulling wheelstands in the Knotts Berry Farm wagon ...

Re: Speedway Westport
Lol.... I have many fond memories of that track racing a 4-speed PC Cresta which I built with a couple of others. We then built a Worsely and then I helped my Brother build a Victor and somewhere in between I rescued and rebuilt an EJ Holden. I had a few interesting times racing Streetstocks in ...

Re: Modified 70s and 80s Saloons - Picture Thread
That is history, does it still run 186-supercharged and is it as shown in second photo (with Commodore) 202 in it at present and the original Wade supercharger was off the Brock LC XU-1 Rally-X car nicknamed 'The Beast' but it was worn out and replaced with a Godfrey unit before Laz got it, the ...

A mate from Oz owns this super Historic Torana. It was the 1st HDT Torana which has had some very famous Drivers behind its wheel and raced at some very historic events including Bathurst (misfire problems), Sandown (2nd from Moffat), and it did a couple of 1971 ATCC races before it was turned into ...

Re: XUI Torana Race Cars in NZ
Antons car is one very well balanced package and to beat it in the rain is commendable for sure and I can understand your feeling as this has to be one of the best if not thee best in its class. I know where Dale is coming from as I have seen his car and driving and he is no slouch, so for a nicely ...
