Re: New Zealand Allcomer Saloons
On reflection it may be a different Hawker. The first cortina I rode in was Neil's but was only 1500 at the time. Was a similar colour to my angria and had twin exhausts fitted with m/cycle megaphone mufflers. Will have a browse in the photo's to confirm.

Re: Seasons greetings
bry- all the best to you and have a good one. Love your efforts over the year. Don't think Jamie will be upset, that's a good shot of him in his younger years, and come to think of it, he is a bit like Santa to some people helping them out with his knowledge and skills. Couldn't agree more. Best ...

Hi Gang Timaru That was a real buzz. We went on the boat to Picton and was picked up by a mate who towed us to Timaru with his Ford single spinner flat head V8. SID went well. Big learning curve. Met a lot of people who are still good friends. It was a very long weekend as we went back to Picton ...

Re: Noise
Very similar to what happened with the venue I was involved in but as land owners were able to build a very strong case for future operations. The benefits that resulted far exceeded the noise level settings and hours of operation. One example was the generous noise contour that was applied to the ...

Re: Team Cambridge Monaro
There was an Angus Cameron who used to hill climb a grey valiant in the mid 60s and boy did he throw that thing around. I have some great photos of him in that car at Houghton Bay and Palmer Head: I do not recall the Monaro The same man. I too have some hillclimb photos. I don't think the Valiant ...
