Re: Bruce McLaren
Not sure if this made the news in NZ but in my role as a Trustee of Auckland University alumni in the UK we've been working for 4 years to develop the relationship between the Engineering Faculty (where Bruce studied) and McLaren. We've funded several students to work as interns at Woking, we have a ...

Re: Where Are All The '70s And '80s Photos?
I remember you having the car but I didn't realize it had competition history. I can fill you in on the history…. Car was owned by Bob Barry, who worked in stores at Giltrap's Fiat import - actually think it was owned by his girlfriend/partner. It was only partly Group-A, nowhere near as developed a ...

Insiders of the time also claim that FISA and one B.Ecclestone were not happy ...

Re: Group A - International Touring Car Formula
I love that car, and in those colours. Looks fantastic! Lindsay it was Andy Rouse who raced this car in the BTCC in 1985 and won the championship before it made its way to NZ. Rouse shared the car with David Oxton in a couple of events before Oxton took it over for the NZ series. Great looking car ...
