Would like to get more information about Judy Hanbury and Mary Carney and the ex-works Marina GC1. The only info I have found is that they drove the car to 27th place in the 73 Heatway, and to 12th in the 74 Northland rally.

A true gentleman of the sport. Remember after he won the Southern 200, at the prize giving he gave the audience a rarkup for talking during the prize giving, reminding them to respect their fellow competitors, and that everyone deserved to have their efforts applauded (even the tailenders like me ...

Re: Just A Mix Of Pics - Ray Green Collection

The car I brought to NZ in 1983. I believe it is still around (but off the road, Snells beach area?). I'd like it back, as this was the car in which I had my ever first race - at Pukekohe. A most underrated car and a real surprise with superb torque and a genuine 100mph top speed. [ATTACH=CONFIG ...

Re: Mazda R100s, RX-2s & RX-3s in Touring car racing

I should mention in particular if anyone has any engine bay pictures of any of the Group C RX-3's, showing the various inlet manifold designs and variations these cars ran, 48 IDA's, IDF's, DCOE's etc, and any underside pics showing the different exhaust systems that were run. I actually have, what ...

I'm not sure if this Russ Abbott car was a genuine Sprint - I believe they had a different front badge than this Front badge had "Sprint" under "Triumph". Sprint also had the gearbox and rear axle from the "big" 2500 saloons and TR sports cars, rather than the Herald ...

Wiki claims it was a steel shell bolted to a GT40 chassis. 1984's Supervan 2 was a fibreglass shell on a C100 chassis with a Cosworth DFL, and got rebuilt with a new body and Cosworth HB engine to become Supervan 3 in 1994.

The Team Surtees van is a left-hooker, possibly Chevy?

The Embassy Racing van in the top pic is a Transit, although not as quick as Ford's Supervan  .
