Neat build thread. Have owned my "64 Sprint for just over a year, 289, 4 speed. Great cars.

Great article Steve, I look forward to buying the book. A great era in New Zealand motor racing. The later car of Kieran Wills RX8 was my favourite. If you ever do vintage dragsters I have a heap of info on Hombre which I restored and own.

His son Shane has a racing Capri also (yellow and green colour). Barnesy senior recently retired and sold his Palmerston North bakery to Shane.

Berry and Chung (B&C) produced lots of performance inlet manifolds and a few sets of these front wheels. They are very rare now days.
