This has been noted on another thread, but out of respect, he was not named, although I know many knew who it was, he was operated on last night, had a comfortable night and is a serious but stable condition, I'm sure he will be in the thoughts of many over the weekend, he is a mighty guy.

I have been told by a friend of mine this morning, who was at Teretonga yesterday, that Stan Redmond has been seriously injured in his Formula 5000 yesterday, and he`s in Dunedin Hospital in an induced coma. I have meet Stan on several occassions and he`s always had the time to talk, and is a pretty jovial sort of character. Nobody likes hearing bad news about bad crashes, but hang in there Stan, I`m thinking of you.
