Yeah it was pretty crap by then. Nothing like when we went as kids in previous years. Looks like the NZ touring cars mixed in with a couple of BTCC Cars. Radisich was the big NAME. Heres a shot of the cover of the programme, I think it was the same for the posters.

I wasn't taking photo's before this year so this is all I have I think.

You can see Baird and Riley sharing a BMW 3 series. I remember them driving one each and Baird having great battles with Lamont in the Falcon, which I've seen for sale somewhere recently. It would have been a red EB I think.

Just thought they might be of interest to someone.

Cool photos! Interesting to see the classic racers. That blue Corvette was and still is owned by Kevin Gill. Ran a small block. The Corvette you are thinking of is the one owned by Elliott Crawford, originally built by Steve Malam. Thats a big block car. The Kevin Gill Corvette is currently being rebuilt and should be out racing again with the new Historic Muscle Cars class in the next year or so. Kevin parked it up in the mid 90s.

The Blue Corvette that is in these shots. Is that the same one still racing with Central Muscle Cars today?

Great pictures of the Anderson Mustang when it still looked like a Mustang, headlights an all!!!!
