Were you the Irish bloke I was talking to?
Small world isn't it Nigel. No, I wasn't the Irish bloke - he
(Liam) was the son of an old school friend of mine. My mate has just returned to live in NZ after living in Ireland for 25 years
(hence his son's Dublin accent), and they were both staying with us at the track. Liam just seemed to be in the right place at the right time to capture a few 'incidents' on camera, and was proud of his efforts, so came running back to the apartment to show everyone. I downloaded them onto my laptop so I could upload them to the Forum.
As an aside, my mate hadn't been to a race meeting in NZ for over 25 years, and was extremely impressed with HD and the racing in general. Nice to know, as this guy has attended racing meeting all around Europe and the UK.
