The Roaring Season

Na I was a late comer this was my first race on a city track, i was granted my licence less than 30 minutes before this race :)
I returned a few years later in a VC Valiant but I blew the engine.

When were you racing in Nelson?..there are a lot of Photos from the Nelson Photo News which were taken during the 60s..they are online

Lol.... I have many fond memories of that track racing a 4-speed PC Cresta which I built with a couple of others. We then built a Worsely and then I helped my Brother build a Victor and somewhere in between I rescued and rebuilt an EJ Holden.
