They used the 3.64km International Circuit - as it was then. The current International Circuit is a bit shorter and bypasses the Club Circuit hairpin. They had a few delays at that first meeting and finished with an unintended night race for the Pre-65s.

The V8 meeting was 18-19 March, but I was also there for a National Champs meeting on 8 Jan and I had a walk around the new circuit which at that time was still gravel in places.

does anyone out there have a program for this meeting showing the circuit that was used between the original 1.4km one and what they use now please? there would have been very few meetings on this track
