Ex Ashley Stichbury RF84 Van Diemen
Entered by Murray Taylor Racing in 1984 and 1985 Formula Ford Festivals in UK.
Raced in NZ by Keith Beck amongst others.
This was Ashley Stichbury's first race car after he graduated from karts and the car in which he demonstrated his huge driving talent.
Car is in "as raced" condition-cosmetically could do with a tidy up. Present owner has had the car for 23 years and it has not had a lot of use in that time.
Motor was completely rebuilt two years ago and a new clutch installed. Has done 2 Standing 1/4 Mile Sprint events since.
Comes with some spare ratios, spare set of wheels/tyres, some bodywork spares and quick lift jack.
Eligible for Historic FF racing and a most practical, easily and (relatively cheaply) maintained club car.
This is the only RF84 left in the country that has not been demolished. In view of that and it's history, this car will be an appreciating asset. Present owner does not have the space to garage it any more.
