Hi there Steve, welcome to The Roaring Season. Its fantastic to have you here. I just LOVE the job you've done on the Mini, absolutely stunning. Why don't you run a restoration thread in the General Discussion area of the forum showing the car as purchased, through to where you currently have it?

hi There

I came across this site while trying to find old mini photos. Its a great forum and very interesting reading and photos.

I'm into minis and currently have a early 64' 1071 Cooper S and a mk1 Woody for future resto. My Cooper S has had some racing history and i'm only just starting to look into it. 2nd owner in 65/66 Was Donn Anderson, then Peter Sharp and less well known people after that. I've had quite a number of mk1 minis in the last 6-7 years but now have pretty much settled on 2!

I live North of Christchurch.

I painted the car myself but have had help with the mechanicals. I've been restoring it for a year and a half and its almost finished.
