I Read that. The old Commer went for not alot less than the D Type :confused:

Bonham's incredible Ecurie Ecosse auction sale

At a Bonham's sale in London on 1 December (last Sunday) there was an incredible sale of Eciurie Ecosse gear.
The total for the transporter and 7 cars was AUD 15.8M.

The famous Commer transporter (as shown in the Transporter thread post # 19) went for AUD 3.22M.
A Jaguar D Type went for AUD 4.62M and a C Type for 5.22M.
All three of these went to the one American buyer!

A surprise was the 1961 Sprite (seen on the top front in Transporter thread post # 19) which went for AUD 111,000.
